Self-Catering Kitchens

As our luxury cottages are fully self-catered, you will need to bring all your food for your stay. It is best to buy your food before you come to Limosa Rise so that you don’t have to back track into Foster.

We provide tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, but as the cottages are fully self-contained you will need to bring all your own food.  If you wish to shop locally, our closest town of Foster has excellent food shopping.  There are two supermarkets which are open every day.  The Foster butcher, Prom Meats sells Gippsland Natural Beef, the seafood shop sells locally caught fish (payment by cash only), and Aherns is an excellent fruit and vegetable market.  The butcher, fish shop and fruit and vegetable market are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, and Saturday from 8.30am to 12 noon.

Each self-catering cottage has:

Coffee plunger, tea pot and strainer, leaf tea and teabags, sugar.

Here’s a lunch we prepared in the cottage. We brought in the food, all the kitchenware was in the cupboards.
