FOSTER AND DISTRICT AGRICULTURAL SHOW
This 111th annual show will be held in the Foster Township which is nestled in the rolling hills of southern Victoria, Australia. Foster Showgrounds, normally home to local football, cricket, netball and basketball teams, will be filled with horses, cattle, sheep, working dogs, chooks, alpacas, pigeons, bands, local produce and craft exhibits – and, of course, hordes of spectators from the wider local district as well as from Melbourne and beyond, and overseas and interstate visitors to Wilson’s Promontory who are delighted to witness this authentic and iconic local event.

MUSIC FOR THE PEOPLE AT MOSSVALE PARK
Join us on the last Sunday in February 2018 to celebrate the 50th ‘Music for the People’ Concert held in the beautiful Mossvale Park in South Gippsland. To celebrate this milestone concert, we are thrilled to announce ‘The Royal Australian Navy Band’ as our special guest in 2018. Lieutenant Andrew Stokes, Officer-In-Charge, Royal Australian Navy Band will lead the 36 piece Concert Band and 16 piece Big Band in a variety of music including marches, popular classics, show tunes and music from the Big Band era.
Prepare to be treated to a delightful day of entertainment, featuring the South Gippsland Concert Band, Wonthaggi Citizens Band and South Gippsland Shire Brass Band from 11am, and the Royal Australian Navy Band from 2pm.
When: Sunday 25 February 2018, Gates open at 10am.
Performances start at 11am
Cost: $15 ($10 concession) / Companion Card and Children under 15 FREE.
