If you wish to shop locally, the closest supermarket is in Foster, about 25 minutes drive away, and is open 7 am to 9 pm daily.
The Foster butcher, Prom Meats sells Gippsland Natural Beef, the seafood shop sells locally caught fish (payment by cash only), and Aherns is an excellent fruit and vegetable market. These shops are open Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.00 pm, and Saturday from 8.30 am to 12 noon.
The Yanakie General Store which is about 8 minutes drive from us, is open daily between 8 am and 6.30 pm and stocks basic food items, some alcohol, petrol and newspapers.
