Garlic beer, garlic ice cream and garlic scones are just a hint that the Meeniyan Garlic Festival is a fun adventurous place to enjoy the best that South Gippsland has to offer.
Over 100 stalls selling delicious food, arts and crafts ,plus live music to keep your feet tapping, vintage cars, live cooking demonstrations relayed to the big screen so you can watch the tricks of the trade closely, and back to back educational talks on all things garlic in the Meeniyan Hall. $10 will buy you access to all the events in the main street and at the reserve. Kids 16 and under are admitted free and will delight in the many kids’ activities including the new bubble soccer game, vegetable sculptures, mystery hunts, billy cart races and old fashioned games.
Parking is available at Stony Ck Reserve and signage around town will guide you where to go.
Other related events including long lunches will feature on Sunday to encourage visitors to plan a fabulous weekend in South Gippsland.
