Wilsons Prom National Park opens again after a freak storm washed away roads six months ago.

Here's a pic taken on the way in to the opening ceremony.

Here’s a photo I took today. Titled ‘All is right with the world’ because this is a view which I never tire of and it always has an unbelievable wow factor.

Being able to see it again today was so uplifting. I took it on the way down to Tidal River today en route to the official opening ceremony. YAY! What A Fantastic Day. So much to see but nowhere near enough time to really enjoy it.

At least we were there in the park proper. Well nearly….I will really be able to say that when I can get back to Sealers or similar.

From the ABC:

Southern sections of Wilsons Promontory National Park, which have been closed since a freak rain event caused flooding, landslips and washed away walking tracks, have reopened today after six months of intensive repair work.
