Limosa Rise Finalist at the Vic Tourism Awards 2008 – Again!

Limosa Rise qualified again as a Finalist in the 2008 Victorian Tourism Awards.

Once again we were up against the Crown Promenade Hotel, who was the winner in our category: Deluxe Accommodation for the third time running.

Destination Gippsland covered the successes for Gippsland, saying:

Limosa Rise, Lakes Entrance Waverley House Cottages and Stringybark Cottages Bed & Breakfast also demonstrate the excellent accommodation available throughout the region”.

The following is a press release announcing the results of the Gippsland Tourism Awards for 2007, and announcing Limosa Rise as winner in the category of Deluxe Accomodation!

The Gippsland Tourism Sector was inspired last night by passionate and insightful speeches from renowned restaurateur Dur-e’ Dara and Tourism Victoria Director Geoffrey Conaghan at the Gippsland Tourism Awards hosted by Bis Cucina in Sale.

Limosa Rise qualified as a Finalist in the 2007 Victorian Tourism Awards in the category: Deluxe Accommodation.

Update: We are finalists again in 2008!

We were up against stiff competition: the Crown Promenade Hotel won, with Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens and Sebel Heritage Yarra Valley also qualifying as finalists.

Limosa Rise wins Gippsland Tourism Award 2007

In July 2007, we attended a Gippsland Tourism Awards presentation evening in Sale and were thrilled to be announced Winners in the Deluxe Accommodation category.

We’d already been working closely with other operators in Gippsland. Our entry involved completion of two out of the five sections required for entry into the Victorian Tourism Awards.
